Research interest:

Head of the group: Electroanalysis and Biosensors (QA3 group at the Vigo University).

Pioneers in applying, successfully, the Electroanalytical Methodology to kinetic studies of Arendiazonium ions and studying its reactivity in presence of cyclodextrins, antioxidants and amino acids in aqueous, hydroalcoholics and emulsions media.

Actually, we are applying the knowledge acquired on arendiazonio reactivity (chemical and electrochemical) to modify the electrode surfaces in order to obtain the platforms base to immobilize the bio-molecules, using for this purpose the above mentioned compounds in combination with nano-particles, carbon nano-tubes and any type of nano-structures.
